This is a web site operated by Northside Christian
Centre (NCC). Your use of the information, graphics and materials
on this site is governed by this Privacy, Security and Legal Statement.
Privacy Policy
At Northside Christian Centre we acknowledge
that privacy is very important. We have no intention of selling,
sharing or in any way distributing your information to a third party.
We intend to protect the quality and integrity of your personally
identifiable information. We will make a sincere effort to respond
to your requests to correct personal information inaccuracies in
a timely manner.
Whenever you seek our counsel, send NCC a donation
or pay for events and registrations, there is certain information
we need in order to respond to you. We may ask for your name, mailing
address, phone number and/or e-mail address. Although we can not
guarantee that an outside person or organization couldn't break
in and obtain personal information on you. We would like to reiterate,
that we have no intention of selling, sharing or in any way distributing
your information to a third party. The information collected may
include some sensitive information (as defined by the Privacy Act),
such as health information or information about your beliefs, relevant
to the services or assistance you have requested from NCC. Where
practicable, the purpose for which we collect personal information
will be made clear at the time of collection. If you do not provide
us with certain information we may be unable to provide you with
access to some of our services or the assistance you have requested.
Users can generally visit NCC website without
revealing who they are or other personal information unless they
wish to communicate with us. NCC will not collect any personal information
relating to visitors unless they knowingly provide the details.
Access to your information
You can request access to the personal information
that NCC holds about you by contacting NCC office. We will provide
you with access to your personal information unless we are legally
authorised to refuse your request.
If you wish to change personal information that
is out of date or inaccurate at any time please contact us. After
notice from you, we will take reasonable steps to correct any of
your information which is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
If you wish to have your personal information deleted please let
us know and we will delete that information wherever practicable.
Security
NCC will take reasonable steps to keep secure
any personal information which we hold and to keep this information
accurate and up to date. Personal information is stored in a secure
server or secure files.
The Internet is not a secure method of transmitting
information. Accordingly, NCC cannot accept responsibility for the
security of information you send to or receive from us over the
Internet or for any unauthorised access or use of that information.
We will endeavour to ensure our network, webpage & corresponding
technology is secure and updated.
Legal Statement
Any decisions that you make during or after phone
calls, chat sessions, conferences, emails, letters or any form of
communication with NCC are your own decisions and your must assume
full responsibility for them. Any "advice" you feel you
are given should be taken as an opinion and not as a directive for
you to follow. All public forums, including but not limited to,
chat rooms and message boards are made available as resources for
our visitors to support each other. Please realise that these forums
are not private. Therefore, it is up to you to use discretion in
revealing any personal information about yourself. Please remember
to be courteous and encouraging to others but also be informed that
NCC cannot guarantee that some participants won't be disruptive
or harmful to you. NCC will attempt to keep our forums safe by confronting
and/or terminating access for visitors who have engaged in inappropriate
behaviour or who have been hurtful to others.
NCC makes no representations whatsoever about
any other Web sites which you may access through this one. When
you access a non-NCC Web site, please understand that it is independent
from NCC, and that NCC has no control over the content on that Web
site. In addition, a link to a non-NCC Web site does not mean that
NCC endorses or accepts any responsibility for the content, or the
use, of such web site. It is up to you to take precautions to ensure
that whatever you select for your use is free of such items as viruses

NCC believes that your personal information --
including your email and residential addresses -- belongs to you.
